Description

buddy list's "show info" button and "get info" context menu item are confusing, the first opens the buddy inspector (maybe call it "edit"?) the second sends a whois. i guess both should be available in both places...

there is also a problem with the shortcut: cmd-shift-I is usually the "whois" command, but in the buddy list it opens the buddy inspector

I'd note that by default colloquy uses cmd-shift-i as a context sensitive get info window on the currently selected item ala the finder. Show info/buddy inspector is the proper command to attach the keyboard command to.
