Description
I've noticed especially with 3385 that Colloquy beachballs a lot more than it ever used to. This happens mainly in large "chunks". Netplits, or 15-20ish lines of text at once beachball Colloquy for a good while - more than long enough to be able to get a few samples from it. I can get Colloquy to beachball every time this way. A less reliable way to reproduce this is with nick highlighting (using the default theme).
My machine is a 1.2GHz iBook G4 with 768MB RAM - all the updates and such. I've also tried running Colloquy with ToT WebKit? and it didn't seem to help much. I'll attach a sample from Activity Monitor in a minute, hopefully that will provide some insight into the problem.

This is nothing new, netsplits and large chuncks of text have always caused issues. Dup of #381.

Trac doesn't seem to want to take my attachment so I've just uploaded a sample to http://seventybox.com/colloquysample.txt and another running under ToT WebKit? at http://seventybox.com/colloquytot.txt
