i'm using version 2.1 (2D41) joining some rooms i'm unable to see the topic and receive any message until i write one

btw the channel is irc.quakenet.org#suicide-squad

afaik this is a quakenet issue (maybe on other networks too) that happens after netsplits, not something we can fix...
