Description
In the current nightly as of 18 may 2006 GMT
to replicate:
open a channel or two.
/msg someone
join the msg window to the channel window by dragging the user name
make sure the toolbar is visible in both
go to a channel. close the toolbar using the losenge on the title bar
click on the user's msg tab. The toolbar re-opens automatically
click on the channel bar. The toolbar is still open.
*end*
This does not match my expectations. I would expect that the toolbar should stay closed or open for the current window regardless of which channel / user I am in. If I change the visible state (hide it), then it should stay hidden even if I switch from user to channel or vice versa.
Also, the icon only / text only / icon and text seem to be independent between msg / chan views as well, which can have the confusing effect of changing the size of the toolbar when shifting from chan to msg views.
