Description

hello,

i'm fairly new with mac and so far I've loved my notebook. Anyways, I've been trying to find a decent IRC client and i've stumbled upon your lovely application. It's stable, reliable and very cute. My problem is i can't seem to use the !list and /ctcp options.
When I do use them they are in seperate sorta bubbles and when i click on them they disappeare. I know i sound like a complete idiot but hopefully you or your team or whoever it is that reads these messages will kindly help me out. maybe you can send a sorta idiot's guide to colloquy...

thnx,
carrie

/ctcp things show up in the console, so you need to open the console to see them with /console. There is different ways of doing that stuff. We have a GUI for most of it. You can right-click a user and click Send File.
!list is a script that someone runs that typically replies with DCC Chat, which we don't support yet. A feature request for this has already been made and is on our list of things to do.

If you have any other questions such as these, feel free to drop in at #colloquy on irc.freenode.net (or go to Help > Colloquy Chat Room), and if someone is there, they should be able to answer any questions.
