Turning off notices

Reported by: eric@… Owned by: timothy
Component: Colloquy (Mac) Version: 2.3 (Mac)
Severity: Normal Keywords:

Hello - I've searched through your documentation and the preferences in the app, but I can't figure out how to turn off a particular type of notice. I've got a particular channel that keeps generating notices like: "Notice from <chat server URL>. WHO list limit (25) reached!". These are very annoying. I've tried selecting "Ignore Notifications" for that channel, but it doesn't do anything. How do I disable these notices? Thanks!

You could either add a perm ignore rule for the sender, or in Preferences, look for "Show Notices as Private Chat", and change it to "None"

As an aside, a WHO limit of 25 is very very low, it would be ideal if the server admin would raise it. There shouldn't be a real need for it to be that low.
