Description
Would love to see the colloquy bouncer back end ported for use on linux/shell hosting. Using Colloquy as a bouncer works beautifully, connecting to other bouncers (psyBNC, ZNC, ect) are not as elegant as using the official way. Unfortunately the official way requires a Mac running 24/7.

While we might consider linux support (in an ELF binary), we will, unfortunately, not be able to provide a Java implementation of our bouncer.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.

Please make the binary in Java or test it on other platforms too: many people are nowadays using NAS boxes and some of them are BSD based, in my case it's OpenIndiana/OpenSolaris?. Limiting the daemon to Linux is not a good idea.
