#2481 closed Task (Duplicate)

10 min multitask quit

Reported by: Eduardo@… Owned by: kiji.roshi
Component: Colloquy (iOS) Version: 1.3 (iOS)
Severity: Critical Keywords:

Following ticket #2479:

If the 10 minute multitask is a Apple limitation you must indicate the "known" limitation on your website.

The iPhone Mail software stays connected while iPhone is locked and when SMS alerts appear. So when you advertise "Stays connected while iPhone is locked and when SMS alerts appear." you trick people in believing the software will work like the iPhone Mail software.

This was the only reason I switched from irc999 to your software, which from what I recall when I had my iPhone 2G was a free application.

If you cannot provide the funcionality you advertised please do paypal my moneyback. You must not falsely imply a feature. And I will be more than happy to delete your application from my device after the reimburse.

My paypal account is zehedu@….

Thank you for your time.

We regard the 10 minute limit to be fairly common knowledge among apps and haven't mentioned it as such. We'll consider your thoughts in the future when updating the app and its description.

However, Mobile Colloquy from the App Store has never been free. As Apple handles payments, if you want a refund, you'll have to take it up with them, by doing the following:

  1. Launch iTunes
  2. Go to Purchase History
  3. Report a problem
  4. Fill out the form with the for your refund request
