#2470 new Defect

Certain Custom Emoticons Break Emoticon Parser

Description

I'm trying to add some custom emoticons to an .colloquyEmoticon by adding an emoticon.plist file. However, the type of emoticons I'm adding appear to break the parser. When the file doesn't exist, the emoticons parse fine (minus the custom ones I'm adding), but when I've added it, no emoticons are parsed and replaced at all. I'm trying to add emoticons that have colons (:) on either end of the string. For example, "", "" (without quotation marks). This is a shame, because the channel I'm connected to primarily uses a mibbit client on their site with these custom emoticons, so I'd really like to try to use these in Colloquy.
