How to set Font Family and Base Font Size for new style

Reported by: brian.tully@… Owned by: timothy

Severity: Normal Keywords: style, documentation

I'm developing my own Colloquy style and one thing I can't seem to figure out is how to programmatically set the Font Family and Base Font Size for my style. It seems to default to "Times" and "16" Times respectively. However I noticed that when I switch to other styles such as Bubbles and Bland the Font Family and Base Font Size changes. I've analyzed these styles and don't see anything in the code that specifies these parameters (e.g., Monaco font for Bland theme).

I've looked at the Development Wiki and documentation, and don't see anything that covers how to do this. The Styles topic in the wiki refers to a Sample style that can include an optional parameters.plist file, but doesn't specify how this file should be formatted and what parameters can be included. None of the core styles includes this file.

Can anyone shed some light?
