#2315 closed Defect (Works for Me)

Command+Delete sometimes doesn't delete anything

Reported by: thewarrior Owned by: timothy
Component: Colloquy (Mac) Version: 2.3 (Mac)
Severity: Normal Keywords:

Description

Occasionally, when using the whole-word delete (command+delete) Colloquy won't remove the last word as expected at all, sometimes it will do a normal delete (one char).

Just a little irritating as I retype whole words when I make a typo, and I end up typing the correction at the end of the typo which was supposed to be gone...

Sorry, that's supposed to be Option+Delete to delete the last word.

And I haven't figured out what might cause it (maybe switching from a particular app or something)?

Are there two spaces at the end of what you're typing? If so, opt + delete will only delete the first space, not both spaces and the previous word.
