There should be somewhere (perhaps in the server pane?) where you have a graphical interface to set user modes, in particular the basic +iosw modes.

If you control+click on a username in the channel, you can give them the status you want. Although, I don't know what server has +i, +s or +w as "basic" modes. The IRC rfc certainly doesn't.

You misunderstand the request; I'm not talking about channel operator status and such, I'm talking about your personal umodes set using '/mode <nick> <modes>' or '/umode <modes>'. And +iosw are, as I recall, the only ones that are standard in the RFC.

As an added bonus, you could perhaps find a way to translate an attempt to set +o into an appropriate OPER command.
