Colloquy mobile ignores "Disable Auto Lock" after changing song on iPhone

Description

Steps to reproduce:

  • Set "Disable Auto Lock" to on.
  • Launch Colloquy and join a channel.
  • Plug in headphones (if not already plugged in), click remote once to start music playing.
  • Double click remote to jump to next song.
  • After a few seconds, iPhone will dim, then lock.
  • Unlock iPhone, you will still be connected. It will not happen again until you double click to change song again.

I have an iPhone 3GS, with OS 3.1 installed. It's an odd issue, but somewhat annoying for someone like me who changes songs frequently.

Tested on lastest version of Colloquy from the App Store, as well as from source.

I suspect this is an Apple bug. The iPod app is likely overriding our call to disable the idle timer.

We might need to disable it again if we detect a song has been changed.
