Auto Complete "." Shortcut after built in Auto Completion of text

Reported by: anonymous Owned by: kiji.roshi

Description

Whevever you use the auto complete for names, it should support the double space period shortcut.

Example: I type "Hey there Da (Davis shows up and I choose it)" Normally, if I had typed out the whole name I would double tap Space to insert a period at the end of the sentence. But with how it is now, I have to press backspace before double tapping. It would be nice to use auto complete, and hit space to get the "." shortcut (since the space is inserted after the auto complete).

I hope I made sense.

I don't think this can ever work. Since the first space is inserted by COlloquy and not the keyboard. The "." shortcut only works if you type two spaces with the keyboard within a certain amount of time.
