#1684 closed Defect (Fixed)

Window has disappeared

Reported by: MarkDilley Owned by: timothy
Component: Colloquy (Mac) Version: 2.2 (Mac)
Severity: Normal Keywords:
Cc: markwdilley@…

I have been using Colloquy for several years - and this is the first time this issue has happened. At work, I plug my mac laptop into a big screen - so I have multiple screens running. for some AIR applications, they get confused and have to be reset for them to find the window again.

Can I reset Colloquy? I have deleted and reinstalled.

Best, Mark

you can delete the info.colloquy.plist file, which should be it. what exactly is the problem though? the window disappeared somewhere and you can't find it? does it show when you use expose?

When I open colloquy - no window comes up automatically, which is what it has done for the last 4 years. Even when I go to the menu and try to open up the connections - nothing.

I will try deleting the info.colloquy.plist file and see what happens.

When I uise expose - I get the can't do that sound.

Jane thanks! it turned out to be the info.colloquy.plist file. Unfortunately - it wiped out my rooms - but that should be easy enough to recreate. Thanks!

I want to mark this ticket as done.. but can't :-(

Wish all wikis were open edit :-)
