#1652 closed Enhancement (Won't Fix)

Redirect youtube.com links to m.youtube.com

Reported by: kelseyhigham+colloquyrequest@… Owned by: kiji.roshi
Component: Colloquy (iOS) Version: 1.0 (iOS)
Severity: Trivial Keywords: YouTube

Description

Every time you click a YouTube? link in Mobile Colloquy, it exits the app (to open YouTube?.app) and interrupts all your conversations. Tweetie for iPhone works around this by converting all youtube.com to m.youtube.com links, which open in any old WebKit? view without kicking you out of the app.

It'd be pretty useful if Colloquy did this too.

  • Resolution set to wontfix
  • Status changed from new to closed

The YouTube? app is a much better experience. Plus with push or a bouncer it is less important to stay in the Colloquy app.
