Hi, does the iPhone version of Colloquy currently support XMPP? If not, I may want to look into getting this implemented.

Thanks,

Nope, it currently doesn't. We're focusing on improving the IRC experience for mobile colloquy users before considering other protocols, but if you are interested in helping out, please let us know! We can be found in #colloquy-mobile on freenode.

Just a quick comment: have a look at the bitlbee project: http://bitlbee.org.

This will imitate an irc server, so colloquy can just connect to it like any other irc server, bitlbee will proxy to other networks such as jabber/XMPP. So you can already use colloquy to chat on jabber if you use this tool as intermediate translator. There are public servers so you can even do this without any software installation.
