Scrolling the chat window, scrolls whatever app is *behind* it as well

Description

I'm using Version 2.1 (3761), on OS X 10.5.2

If I scroll the chat area in Colloquy, using either a might mouse scroll or "two-finger scroll" on a MacBook, a window *behind* Colloquy will also be scrolled.

I've tried this with both Terminal and Firefox, and both applications get scroll events if I scroll the chat area in Colloquy (when it is foremost).

This does not happen with other mac apps, so I assume (but could be wrong) that this is a Colloquy bug.

  • keywords webkit scroll background added
  • priority changed from highest to normal

Update to Safari 3.1 and the problem should be fixed as it includes a newer version of webkit with bugfixes, at least it does not do this on my system any longer.
