THis looks like a CFNetwork crash, make sure you are reporting these to Apple.

Are you saying that Colloquy is not responsible at all?

I have had the same thing happen on my MacBook. I've attached my crash log which look pretty similar to the other crashes.

  • version set to Latest 2.1
  • component changed from Colloquy (GUI) to Chat Core (IRC)

I also have this problem, it seems to be a bug in the module IRCChatConnection and more accurately in the function _ircRunLoop.

I attach my crash log.

This looks like a CFNetwork crash, make sure you are reporting these to Apple.

Maybe run for yourselves the following commands:

ls -ltr ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/

ls -ltr ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/ReportCrash*

Defocusing from Colloquy: I tend to find that various applications crash … not so much following a first sleep/wake (typically with an implicit connection change at wake time) … more likely following a second wake of that nature. For me, these sleep periods are typically less than five minutes (walking from one part of a building to another, first change is from wired Ethernet to Wi-Fi; second change is back to wired.)

Without encouraging others to do the same: I'll attach CrashReporter directory listings.

The proper name of that file was lost in Trac; its name was
ls -ltr ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/ .txt
