Recent SVN source breaks SILC rooms

Reported by: ScottM Assigned to: timothy
Priority: highest Component: Colloquy (GUI)
Version: Latest 2.1 Severity: blocker
Keywords: Cc:

Description

Sometime between the last stable nightly and the SVN code, SILC rooms stopped displaying text from others regularly. This is not the /reload style bug, as it is on Safari2 and Safari3 systems and ONLY present in the SVN updated version (3666 confirmed, as well as one version before that).

Main symptom is that you can't see what others type, regardless of /reloading a style, changing styles, etc. Only effects SILC rooms. Confirmed by two other regulars on the channnel..

  • version set to Built Source.

Confirmed At revision 3708.

Still a problem. You can type, it can be seen, but nothing anyone says in a silc room is displayed, regardless of Style.

Still unfixed in the most recent release (3720). This completely breaks SILC functionality, it is an unusable client at this point :( :( :(.

Replying to timothy:

Fixed in [3731].

An intel-only build that works is here:

http://spork.us/Colloquy.zip

Don't have my XCode DVD handy, and I'm missing stuff to build PPC.

Considering this renders Colloquy totally useless for silc users, how about an official build?
