System Info (Plugins & Scripts)

Preferences are accessible by typing sysinfo:prefs, entering it into a channel, selecting it, then right clicking it to bring up the preference pop-up. The command to run this script is: /sysinfo

You can now select which of the system attributes are displayed in the commandline with: /sysinfo [attribute name]. You can also have more than one seperated by spaces. For example, /sysinfo raw hostname cpu freq

Note: This script requires the latest release.

(7/14/07) Supports the Mac Pro 1.1 and 2.1 models (quad-core and 8-core). Tested only on Mac Pro 2.1.
(3/18/07) Core 2 Duo points to the proper chip name.
(11/21/06) Macbook Pro 2.2 added by Trey Copeland.
(7/27/06) Intel Macs added (Mac mini Core Duo/Solo, MacBook, MacBook Pro) by Thorne^ with friendly help by Darkord.
(1/3/06) Fixed the issue where it would not show the CPUs on the Quad.
(12/31/05) Added PowerMac G5 (Late 2004), PowerMac G5 DualCore* (Late 2005), iMac G5 (Late 2005), Mac mini (Late 2005), iBook G4 (Mid 2005), Powerbook 15" and 17" (Oct 2005). *=includes G5 Quad (same Machine ID). Fixed slight bug on G5 Systems with more than 2 GB of Ram, it'll just reported 2 GB
(10/28/05) Added Powermac 8,2 to the model listing.
(3/21/05) Fixed a model listing in the January '05 powerbooks.
(3/6/05) Anyone getting errors relating to cut in Tiger, these are now fixed.
(2/27/05) No more error dialogs.
(2/20/05) Internal changes, hopefully will fix random NSCannotCreateScriptErrors introduced recently. Also made it default to colorless display, since there've been a lot of complaints about that.
(2/15/05) Fixed 12:00 displaying as 0:00. Added a time zone display.
(2/13/05) Added Network Traffic.
(2/12/05) Added the new Powerbooks.
(1/27/05) Added the ability to select which attributes are displayed on-the-fly.
(1/23/05) Added another model of iMac, an eMac, and (I think) the Mac mini.
(1/1/05) Fixed a 12in listing to be 17in.

Magic 8-Ball (Plugins & Scripts)

You can ask the mystical eight-ball any question you like, as long as the first word of the question contains the text '8Ball'.

"Magic8Ball, do we have any chance for survival?"
"Absolutely."

Please note that Yes or No questions work best, and The Magic 8 Ball will respond with a random answer.
This plugin works with Colloquy Chat Client, tested on Version 2.1 (3590)

(4/30/07) :

added /commands for maintaining the list of channels to ignore

Plain Text log converter (Miscellaneous)

This is an XSLT stylesheet which can convert a Colloquy log into the equivalent plain text. Run it from the command line with the xsltproc utility, such as xsltproc plaintext.xsl mycolloquylog.xml.

By default it will use a timestamp and pad the nicks out with spaces so they line up. If you pass in the parameter nickLength with a number, it will truncate all nicks to that length (and pad out shorter ones). Passing 0 will mean do no padding or truncation. If you pass in the parameter hideTimestamp with the value "yes" (case-sensitive) then the timestamps will be hidden. To do either of these, use xsltproc --param nickLength 8 --param hideTimestamp yes plaintext.xsl mycolloquylog.xml.

(May 18, 2007) Fixes the issue where transcripts wouldn't convert because the old xsl file breaks xsltproc.

Transcript Converters (Miscellaneous)

Extract files from TranscriptConverter.zip.

Run TranscriptConverter.app to convert all of your transcripts from your default (as defined in the preferences) Colloquy transcript folder. It will place all of the new transcripts in ~/Documents/Plaintext Logs/ and preserve folder structure. If the application is run more than once, it will automatically backup the already converted transcripts to a .zip archive named Log-date-time.zip.

The original transcripts will be left in place in Colloquy Transcripts.

DragAndDropConverter.app works as the name suggests by simply dragging the files onto the application and converting them. It will create the new plaintext version of the transcript in the folder the transcript is in with a name of transcriptname.txt. Please note that it WILL overwrite existing files if there is a conflict.

The scripts for each will be included in the /Scripts folder.

(May 18, 2007) Fixes the issue where transcripts wouldn't convert because the old xsl file breaks xsltproc.
(April 15, 2007) Fixes the drag and drop variable.

FiSHy (Plugins & Scripts)

FiSHy is a plugin for Colloquy, providing Blowfish encryption support. You can encrypt messages you send to chat rooms or queries, and decrypt incoming messages. It also supports automatic Diffie-Hellmann key-exchanges for queries, so you can share channel-keys securely. It fits nicely in the OS X ecosystem, by saving keys in the Keychain, and by using a simple Drag'n'Drop install. It is compatible with FiSH, mIRCryption and Dirt.

For more information about FiSHy and to get the most recent version see the FiSHy SourceForge project.

Installation:
To install, delete any prior versions of FiSHy, then simply drag the FiSHy plugin into Colloquy's plugin folder, located at ~/Library/Application Support/Colloquy/PlugIns. Then restart Colloquy. Simply typing "/reload plugins" is not enough if you updated to a new version of FiSHy!

Usage:
To set a key permanently use /setkey <channel/nickname> <key>. To initiate a key-exchange use /keyx <nickname>. For more information, please refer to the README contained in FiSHy's disk image.

New in this version:

Made FiSHy localizable.

Fixes a crash after a key-exchange timed out.

Make commands case-insensitive.

Make commands work in console windows, too.
